Order the powerful EDUP EP-AB007 amplifier for ultra-long-range telemetry of your drone
EDUP is a Chinese brand specializing in networking equipment. The company produces Wi-Fi adapters, signal amplifiers, antennas and routers. The range includes models for PCs, laptops, smart TVs and video surveillance systems. The products are aimed at home and professional users.
- 4 W (36 dBm) output power for ultra-long range communications.
- Transmission gain 13 dB, reception gain 10 dB.
- Ultra-fast TX/RX switching of less than 1 microsecond.
- Wide range of 6-16V power supply for field conditions.
- Operating temperature -40 to +70°C for extreme conditions.
How does a Wi-Fi signal booster work?
The amplifier is connected between the radio device and the antenna. When transmitting, it increases the signal strength from 4-25 dBm to 36 dBm. When receiving, it amplifies a weak signal from the antenna by 10 dB. Automatic TX/RX switching occurs in microseconds. You get a 3-5 times increase in communication range.
Technical characteristics and functionality
Model EP-AB007 operates in the range of 2.4–2.5 GHz. Supply voltage 6–16 volts DC. Receive gain 10 dB ±1. Transmission gain 13 dB ±1. Input power range from 4 to 25 dBm.
