How does a thermal imaging device work?

The microbolometer detects infrared radiation from objects. Each 12 micron pixel converts heat into a signal. The processor processes the image at a frequency of 50 Hz. The AMOLED display displays black and white or color images. Interchangeable lenses change the magnification and field of view. You observe targets in complete darkness, fog and smoke.
