Advanced technology for perfect flight
The ESC HobbyWing Platinum Pro 40A V4 is a sensorless, brushless speed controller. It converts signals from the receiver into three-phase voltage to power the motor. A 72 MHz microprocessor processes commands in real time.
DEO (Driving Efficiency Optimization) technology improves gas linearity and reduces temperatures. The super-soft start function gently spins the rotor, protecting the mechanics.
BEC (Battery Eliminator Circuit) produces a stable voltage of 5-8V (0.1V steps) with a current of 7A and a peak of up to 18A. This ensures reliable power supply to the servos and receiver. Governor modes (Elf, Store, External) maintain constant rotor speed even during sudden maneuvers. Built-in black box records minimum voltage, maximum temperature and rpm.
Multi-level protection system includes protection against signal loss, overload, over temperature, low voltage and startup. The independent BEC continues to power the receiver even if the power unit fails. A separate RPM output is used to connect a tachometer or FBL system.
