Operating principle and intelligent charging system
The ALLPOWERS 21 W solar panel consists of three monocrystalline modules connected by flexible jumpers . When exposed to sunlight, photocells generate electric current, which is supplied to the built-in intelligent controller. This system not only stabilizes the voltage to 5V, which is safe for USB devices, but also determines the optimal charging current depending on the light level.
The red LED light on the controller indicates there is sufficient light level to begin charging . It is important to remember that actual power output depends on weather conditions and the position of the panel relative to the sun. In optimal conditions (bright sunlight, perpendicular orientation), the panel is capable of delivering up to 15-16 W of usable power, which is enough to charge two smartphones simultaneously.
For maximum efficiency, it is recommended to place the panel perpendicular to the sun's rays and use it in conjunction with an external battery (power bank), which will accumulate energy throughout the day for subsequent charging of devices.
