How does a signal booster for FPV work?
The amplifier is connected between the remote control and the antenna. It receives a weak signal from the transmitter (3–23 dBm), amplifies it to 36 dBm (4 W) and sends it on the air. When received, it also amplifies the weak response signal from the drone (telemetry). Thanks to Time Division Duplex (TDD) technology, the device instantly switches between receiving and transmitting modes without creating delays. Power supply requires a voltage of 6–16 V, which allows the use of conventional LiPo batteries.
