Operating principle and design
TopON TOP-X600 works as a powerful external battery with numerous output interfaces. Modern LiFePO4 cells of format 32135 with a total capacity of 595.2Wh are installed inside. LFP technology provides significantly longer service life and safety. And also temperature resistance compared to conventional lithium-ion batteries. The station retains more than 80% capacity after 2500 cycles and has a low self-discharge of about 1% per month.
The BMS intelligent control system controls all charging and discharging processes. It protects connected devices from voltage surges, short circuits and overheating. The built-in MPPT controller increases the charging efficiency from solar panels by 15%, turning the station into a full-fledged solar power plant. Active cooling system with intelligent control effectively removes heat during long-term operation.
Technical characteristics and functionality
Study the detailed parameters of the TOP-X600 station. Output power is 600W with peak power up to 1000W. The set of output ports includes one 220-240V AC socket with pure sine wave, one 12V/10A 120W power socket and two DC 5521 ports with similar parameters. For modern digital technology, USB-C Power Delivery with a power of 60W is provided. And also 2 independent USB with support for Quick Charge 3.0 up to 18W each.
The station is charged in several ways. The 7909's DC input accepts 12-30V power up to 100W, and USB-C supports up to 60W PD charging . By combining both inputs, you can achieve a total power of 160W and charge the station up to 80% in 3.5 hours, and up to 100% in 5 hours.
A full charge from the mains only takes 7.5 hours. From a car outlet or 100W solar panel about 8 hours. The dimensions of the station are 267×197×247 mm with a weight of 6.8 kg; the body has a convenient carrying handle. Operating temperature from -10 to +55°C, charging possible at 0°C…+45°C.
Areas of application and operation
The TopON TOP-X600 charging station is ideal for field conditions and powering FPV equipment. You can quickly charge your drone batteries using the DC 5521's dedicated ports for this purpose. A powerful USB-C PD 60W will charge a laptop for flight control, and two fast USBs will provide power to cameras, walkie-talkies and smartphones. If necessary, you can connect a tool or other equipment through a 220V socket.
A wide 1000 lumen LED flashlight with a color temperature of 4000K is useful for camp or emergency lighting . An informative 4.5-inch color LCD screen displays charge level, power consumption and remaining operating time. The housing is made of impact-resistant ABS plastic with IP21 and NEMA 2 protection, resistant to dirt and dripping water, and the battery pack is additionally insulated with plastic with a fire resistance rating of UL94-V0.
