How this smart radar works and its applications
The Nanoradar MR72 radar operates in the millimeter wave range 76–77 GHz. It continuously emits radio waves and analyzes their reflection from objects. Featuring dual beam and Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) technology, the radar is capable of measuring obstacle distance, speed and angle while simultaneously tracking up to 50 targets.
Specialized signal processing algorithms filter out noise. This will help maintain high sensitivity even to small targets. The device can detect obstacles at a distance of 0.2 to 80 meters with an accuracy of 10 centimeters. Featuring a high speed 500 kbps CAN interface, the radar easily connects to popular flight controllers.
