Operating principle and key functions

Dedal DS-21/bw 3+ night vision goggles work on the principle of residual light amplification. A third-generation electron-optical converter captures photons from reflected moonlight or starlight. Microscopic particles (photons) are converted into electrons, which are amplified many times inside the image intensifier tube. The increased flow of electrons then hits the phosphor screen, creating a visible black-and-white image.

Thanks to this, you see a detailed picture in complete darkness, where conventional devices do not work. A wide field of view of 40° and the ability to accurately focus from 0.25 meters provide comfortable observation at both close and long distances.
