- Microcontroller RP2040 with two Cortex-M0+ cores.
- Four built-in TMC2209 drivers with UART control.
- Compact size 85x56 mm like Raspberry Pi.
- Support 12V and 24V DC power supply.
- Klipper and Marlin compatible right out of the box.
How does a 3D printer control board work?
You connect 12 or 24 volt power. Then connect the stepper motors of the X, Y and Z axes. Temperature sensors monitor the heating of the table and hotend. The microcontroller processes commands from the computer. TMC2209 drivers control motors quietly and accurately. The board sends signals to print the 3D model.
Technical characteristics and functionality
The SKR Pico V1.0 board has dimensions of 85x56mm. Four-layer PCB ensures stability. The RP2040 microcontroller operates at 133 MHz. The input power accepts 12 volts or 24 volts. The logic voltage of the board is 3.3 volts. Driver interfaces: X, Y, Z1, Z2 and E.
Each TMC2209 driver is controlled via UART. Temperature sensors: TH0, THB and two NTC channels. There is a slot for a microSD memory card. Klipper and Marlin firmware are supported. Ideal for compact Voron 0.1 printers.
