Order the Maytech MT1T4SCD PWM signal converter to control your drone safely!
Ensure reliable and secure communication between the receiver and your drone's ESCs. The Maytech MT1T4SCD device is designed to convert and distribute the PWM signal from the receiver to four independent ESCs. This is critical for multi-motor systems where direct parallel connections can cause equipment damage. An intelligent circuit automatically selects the highest voltage from one of the ESCs to power the receiver. Built-in protections on all four channels prevent interference.
-
Intelligent signal distribution. Converts the receiver output into four isolated channels, eliminating the risk of short circuits.
-
Automatic power selection. Independently selects the highest potential from 4 ESC signal cables to provide stable power to the receiver.
-
BEC conflict protection. Prevents damage caused by connecting power circuits from multiple regulators in parallel.
-
Interference-proof outputs. Integrated protection circuits on all four channels block external impulse noise.
-
Compact and simple. Easily integrates into any system, keeping wiring tidy and increasing reliability.
Operating principle and reliable protection
The PWM signal converter solves the fundamental problem of building multi-motor systems powered by multiple regulators. When ESC signal wires are connected directly in parallel, conflicts may occur between their onboard BECs. This leads to overheating and failure of the electronics. This device receives a signal from the receiver and transmits it through galvanically isolated channels to each ESC, completely eliminating the electrical connection between them via power circuits.
The automatic power selection circuit continuously monitors the voltage inputs from all four regulators and connects the one that produces the highest and most stable voltage to the receiver, turning off the others.
Built-in protection circuits on each output act as filters to suppress high-frequency interference and surges. They can generate powerful ESCs during operation. This ensures that the purity of the control signal is maintained and the sensitive electronics of the receiver are well protected. The device is indispensable when assembling quadcopters, octocopters and other multi-rotor platforms that use multiple controllers with BEC. Ease of connection and compact dimensions make its installation quick and convenient.
Specifications and Applications
The Maytech MT1T4SCD signal converter has standard connection interfaces. It is equipped with an input connector for a signal from the receiver and four output channels for connecting an ESC. The device is compatible with most types of receivers and regulators operating at standard PWM frequencies. Its use is especially relevant in professional and racing drones, where maximum reliability of the control system is required.
Using a converter eliminates the risk of receiver failure due to incorrect power connection and guarantees stable operation under high loads and in conditions of strong electromagnetic interference.
