The HEX Pixhawk 2.1 flight controller is a state-of-the-art flight controller. It is used for autonomous control of unmanned aerial vehicles. Building on the legacy of Pixhawk 2.1, this controller offers improved performance and interoperability with a variety of systems.
The Pixhawk 2.1 flight controller is based on a 32-bit ARM Cortex processor that runs at 168 MHz and has 2 MB of built-in flash memory. This allows it to process the vast data sets required for intensive calculations and complex flight control.
The Cube Orange version provides redundancy capabilities due to the presence of two processors. The primary processor is busy with high-level calculations, the second serves as a backup control module. If the primary controller fails, the secondary controller kicks in to ensure system reliability.
Specifications
One of the features of Cube Orange is the abundance of ports for external devices. Primarily GPS, status and power management, CAN, I2C, SPI and UART. The controller supports several analog inputs and CAN ports. Thanks to this, it can be integrated with a wide range of external devices and sensors.
