Operating principle and installation features

The BC-100 VHF antenna is a vertical omnidirectional antenna. It converts the electrical signal from the radio station into electromagnetic waves and vice versa. With 4.5 dBi gain, it is more efficient than a standard quarter-wave antenna. The frequency range 134–174 MHz covers the entire VHF range used in professional communications. An SWR of no more than 1.5 ensures excellent matching with the cable and radio station.

The PL-259 (SO-239) connector is standard on most fixed-mount transceivers. The antenna is mounted on the mast using special clamps (not included). Length 1700 mm and weight 900 g allow it to be installed on the roofs of buildings and towers. The plastic case protects the antenna during storage and transportation.
