Operating principle and design
TrueRC Line-Air antennas are designed to provide video communications with drones using linear polarization. Unlike circularly polarized antennas, this kit is optimized to work with stock DJI O3 transmitters. And they have linear polarization.
Due to the fact that the two antennas included are oriented at angles of +45 and -45 degrees. They create a polarization diversity effect. This means that even if the drone changes its orientation in space, at least one of the antennas will receive the signal with minimal loss.
The antenna design is made in the same successful form factor as the popular X-Air, which guarantees not only excellent performance, but also an aesthetic appearance. The coverage beamwidth is an impressive 120 degrees (68 degrees at -3dB), providing a wide sector of reliable signal reception.
