-
Lightning speed. Just 0.05 seconds per 60 degrees at 8.4V provides instant response to commands.
-
Premium brushless motor. Provides high efficiency, smooth running and incredible durability.
-
Maximum reliability. Hardened steel gearbox and double ball bearings guarantee long service life.
-
Narrow pulse compatible. Works with a 760us/560Hz signal, optimized for modern stabilization systems.
Operating principle and design
This is a digital HV servo drive designed for the most demanding applications. It is powered by a high-speed brushless motor that provides exceptionally fast start-up and precise positioning. The device uses a narrow control pulse of 760 μs at 560 Hz, which guarantees the ultra-fast response needed to compensate for main rotor torque in helicopters and for precise operation of jettison systems on drones.
The servo drive housing is made of high-strength aluminum alloy using precision machining on CNC machines. This not only gives the design exceptional rigidity, but also turns the case into an effective heatsink, dissipating heat away from the brushless motor and electronics. The hardened steel gearbox guarantees durability and resistance to shock loads, and two precision ball bearings ensure ideal smoothness and minimal play in the output shaft.
Specifications and installation
| Characteristics | 6.0 V | 7.4 V | 8.4 V |
|---|---|---|---|
| Torque | 10.0 kg/cm | 13.0 kg/cm | 15.0 kg/cm |
| Speed (60°) | 0.07 sec | 0.06 sec | 0.05 sec |
Additional characteristics: case dimensions 35.5 × 15 × 35.5 mm, weight 45 g. Motor type brushless. Operating frequency 760 µs / 560 Hz (range 450-1050 µs). Gear material: hardened steel. Bearings: double ball bearings (2BB). The output shaft has a 25 tooth spline. The servo is not waterproof. It has a programmable “soft start” function and is configured using KST-Tool #3 and #5 programmers.
This servo is ideal for use as a tail servo on RC helicopters of the 380-550 classes, including the popular Goblin 380/420, Gaui NX5 and others. It will also work well as a drive for cargo release systems, camera rotating mechanisms and other actuators on large drones where high power and precision are required.
