How does this combination device work?
The device performs multiple functions thanks to its complex internal architecture. In charging mode, it supplies the battery with stabilized current and voltage. The built-in balancer controls the voltage of each cell of LiPo batteries. In power supply mode, the M7AC converts the input voltage to a specified stable voltage. In discharge mode, it dissipates battery energy through the internal load.
The key advantage is complete autonomy from external power supplies. You don't need a separate adapter to operate from a wall outlet. This makes the device compact and ready for use at any time. 250W of power is enough for most batteries in the FPV segment. You can charge multiple batteries in parallel to speed up the process.
Technical characteristics and practical functionality
The device has impressive technical characteristics. The maximum power in charging mode is 250 W. The maximum charge/discharge current is 10A. Supports LiPo/LiHV/LiFe batteries up to 6S (25.2V). In power supply mode it produces an adjustable voltage from 0.5 to 30V. Consumes up to 400 W from the network in peak modes.
The functionality includes all the programs necessary for operation. Charge, discharge, storage and balancing modes for LiPo batteries. Cycle modes (charge-discharge) for training and battery recovery. Quick charge function for quick preparation for flight. Built-in voltmeter and wattmeter for measuring parameters of external sources. Possibility of recording and displaying graphs of the charging process.
The design of the device is thought out for reliable operation. The body is made of durable plastic with a metal front panel. Two active cooling fans provide temperature control. Reliable gold-plated terminals ensure excellent contact. The display with good viewing angles displays all the necessary information. Control is carried out by an ergonomic encoder and buttons.
The device is completely ready to use right out of the box. To start, you need to select the type of battery and connect it to the terminals. Set the desired charge current and start the process. All key parameters will be displayed on the screen in real time. The device will automatically complete the cycle and go into standby mode.
