Operating principle and technical capabilities
The HinSon TOF DE-4511 lidar uses laser time-of-flight (ToF) technology. Four laser beams with a wavelength of 905 nm scan the space with a frequency of 10 Hz each. Angular resolution is 0.1 or 0.2 degrees. The received data forms a point cloud, based on which the device determines the presence of objects.
The accuracy of distance measurement is ±40 mm. The output delay is adjustable from 0 to 500 milliseconds. Class 1 laser is safe for human eyes.
