The MAD AMPX FOC 60A controller is built on the basis of sensorless vector control (FOC), which ensures an ideal sinusoidal current shape on the motor windings. This guarantees exceptional smoothness of rotation, high efficiency and minimal vibration even at low speeds. Specialized software is optimized for disk motors used in heavy-duty drones, ensuring perfect compatibility and stable operation.
The device is equipped with synchronous regenerative braking technology. When the gas is reduced, the regulator does not simply turn off the power, but actively slows down the engine, returning energy back to the battery. This not only improves throttle linearity and controllability, but also improves overall flight efficiency by reducing governor heat. A sophisticated cooling system with two-way heat dissipation through aircraft-grade aluminum ensures stable operation even under prolonged loads.

The regulator is equipped with an intelligent multi-level protection system that monitors many parameters in real time:
Temperature protection. When heating above 125°C, the power is reduced to 50%, at 140°C - complete shutdown with restoration after cooling.
Protection against short circuit and overload. Instant shutdown when short circuit or current greater than 80A is detected within 3 seconds.
Signal loss protection. If the throttle signal is lost for more than 2 seconds, the engines are switched off.
Wrong voltage protection. Start blocking when connecting a battery with a voltage below 16V or above 64V.
