How does the M9 charger work?

You connect an external 7-35V source via the XT60. Select the battery type and set the current. The microprocessor controls the charging process. The recirculation mode pumps energy back. The tester checks the signals from the remote control and flight controller. The generator simulates signals for debugging models. IPS display shows all parameters in real time.

Technical characteristics and functionality

Model M9 has an input voltage of 7-35 VDC. Input current up to 25 A, XT60 connector. Display 2.4″ IPS with a resolution of 320×240 pixels. The screen tilt angle is adjustable from 0–85°. Dimensions 108x71x36 mm, weight 235 grams. LiPo, LiHV, LiFe, Li-ion, LTO (1–8S) are supported. As well as NiMH (1–20S) and lead-acid Pb (1–10S).

Charging power 600 W at a current of up to 20 A. Normal discharge 20 W (current up to 3 A). Recirculation mode 600 W (current up to 20 A). Balancing current 1000 mA at 4.2 V.

For LiHV batteries, the end of charge is 4.35 V. For Li-ion, the end is 4.10 V. Connectors: XT60 for input and for battery. USB-C port charges laptops (up to 65 W). The USB-A port outputs up to 18 W. TF card slot upgrades firmware.
