Buy LD20 2D LiDAR for AGV and Robot Navigation
The lidar company LD specializes in industrial sensors. Its product range includes 2D laser scanners for automation of warehouses and workshops. The brand produces sensors with different ranges and viewing angles. Self-learning models are also available for dynamic zone adjustments. The products are used in logistics, robotics and security systems.
A range of 20 meters and a frequency of 30 Hz will provide reliable collision avoidance in any indoor applications.
- Scan range up to 20 meters for large spaces.
- High frequency of 30 Hz for fast reaction to obstacles.
- Angular resolution as low as 0.1° for precise mapping.
- Low power consumption of 2 W for stand-alone systems.
- Self-learning function for automatic zone generation.
How does the LD20 lidar work?
The device emits 905 nm laser pulses and measures their return time. Time-of-Flight technology calculates the distance to each object. The mechanism scans space 270 degrees. The built-in microprocessor builds a map of the environment in real time. The obtained data is compared with the specified zones. When a zone is violated, the digital output is activated.
Specific functionality and technical characteristics
Model LD20 has a working range from 0.05 to 20 meters. The measurement error is ±30 millimeters. The scanning angle is 270 degrees. The scanning frequency is switchable between 15 and 30 Hz. Angular resolution depends on frequency: 0.1° (30 Hz) or 0.3° (15 Hz).
The number of zone groups is 16 groups of 3 areas. The signal hold time is adjustable from 100 to 10000 ms. Response time for 15 Hz is typical 134 ms. For 30 Hz, the typical response time is 66 ms.
The device is powered from 9 to 28 VDC. Power consumption is only 2 watts. The output driver is rated at 30V and 50mA. Digital outputs are available in NPN and PNP versions. The IP65 housing protection class is resistant to dust and moisture. Operating temperature ranges from -10 to +55°C.
The lidar is resistant to external illumination of more than 15,000 lux. Vibration resistance is rated at 20G for harsh environments. The dimensions of the device are 50×50×76 mm. Weight without cable is 150 grams.
