Operating principle of inverter technology

Artelv Spectrum 2200 operates using a modern inverter circuit. The KM152F engine rotates a synchronous generator that produces unstabilized alternating current. Then the built-in inverter rectifies it into DC, after which, using a high-frequency converter, it forms an ideal sine wave with a pure voltage of 230 V and a frequency of 50 Hz.

Thanks to this, the total harmonic distortion (THD) does not exceed 3%, which is critical for powering flight controllers, LiPo chargers, FPV transmitters and other expensive equipment. Fuel Economy mode automatically reduces engine speed at light loads, reducing noise and gas mileage. The AVR electronic regulator maintains stable voltage even when connecting powerful consumers.

The digital display shows voltage, frequency and engine hours. Built-in low oil level protection prevents engine damage. In case of overload or short circuit, the generator automatically switches off. It is possible to connect two generators in parallel to increase power.
