The line of wireless adapters includes models 3165, 7265, 8265 and 9560. Intel products are used in laptops, servers and industrial computers.
The adapter connects to the motherboard via the M.2 slot. The PCIe interface is responsible for transferring Wi-Fi data. The USB interface controls Bluetooth. Two antennas (MIMO 2x2) send and receive signals. Special drivers allow the OS to use all its capabilities. You get high-speed Internet access and communication with peripherals.
The Intel 8265NGW model complies with the 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (Wi-Fi 5) standard. The maximum connection speed reaches 867 Mbit/s. Frequency ranges: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
