Order the Axisflying Receiver Diversity Board for maximum signal stability for your drone
Forget about disconnects and loss of control. Axisflying's receiver diversity board is a simple and ingenious solution. It allows you to connect two receivers to your flight controller. Your quadcopter will receive unprecedented control reliability. Diversity technology significantly increases the stability of the radio channel.
This board is especially relevant for racing drones and freestyle. You will be able to fly confidently on difficult courses with obstacles. The system automatically selects the antenna with the best signal. Now you will not be afraid of interference and shielding.
Five main advantages
-
Significantly increases the reliability of radio signal reception.
-
Allows you to connect two receivers to one flight controller.
-
Compact dimensions and minimal weight for easy installation.
-
Automatic selection of the antenna with the best signal.
-
Easy integration with most popular receivers.
With this board you will have confidence in every flight. Your drone will respond to commands instantly and without delay.
Technical features and application
The diversity board is compatible with most communication protocols. This includes FrSky, TBS Crossfire, Ghost and many more. It easily connects to the flight controller via the SBUS connector. Installation does not require soldering and takes a few minutes.
The device operates on the principle of true diversity. The built-in processor constantly analyzes the signal. It instantly switches to the antenna with the best reception. This happens unnoticed by the pilot and the flight controller.
The board has ultra-compact dimensions - only 25x25 mm. Its weight is a few grams, which will not weigh your drone down. The supply voltage ranges from 3.5 to 10 V making it universal. You can use it with different configurations.
Ideal applications are racing quadcopters and freestyle vehicles. The board is also useful for commercial drones operating in the city. It provides stable communication in conditions of radio interference.
Reliability and ease of use
Axisflying is known for the quality of its components. The board is made of high-quality fiberglass. All contacts are gold plated for better conductivity. The device is resistant to vibrations and temperature changes.
Installing the board does not require special knowledge. The kit usually includes the necessary connectors. You can install it on your drone in 10-15 minutes. Configuration is carried out through the Betaflight menu or analogues.
This decision is especially important for pilots participating in competitions. Losing signal on the track can cost you a victory. With a diversity card you minimize this risk. Your flights will become safer and more predictable.
Recommendations for configuring the Transmitter Diversity Card
-
Frequency selection: Use two different frequency bands for transmitters TX1 and TX2. Their operating frequencies should not be multiples of each other. This minimizes mutual interference.
-
Remote control settings: Activate External RF mode on your remote control. This is necessary for the correct operation of a bunch of transmitters via the board.
-
Communication speed: Set the CRSF baud rate to 921 Kbps. This setting must be made in the menu of your control panel.
-
Telemetry parameters: Both transmitters must operate at the same telemetry rate. The recommended value for this parameter is 1:64.
-
Update Rate: Make sure that the data packet rate of each transmitter is no higher than 250 Hz. This is critical for stable operation.
-
Power supply: The board is designed for a wide input voltage range from 6 to 35 V. Connect power within these limits for safe operation.
