Order the OWON XSA805 Spectrum Analyzer for accurate and affordable RF analysis in the lab and field

The OWON XSA805 spectrum analyzer is a professional instrument that opens up wide possibilities for testing RF signals. The model covers the range from 9 kHz to 500 MHz, which makes it an ideal tool for configuring antenna-feeder paths, debugging FPV systems and preliminary testing for electromagnetic compatibility (EMI). Featuring state-of-the-art, all-digital IF technology, this analyzer provides the high accuracy and measurement stability needed for both laboratory and field applications.

  • Wide frequency range from 9 kHz to 500 MHz for a variety of applications.
  • Exceptional sensitivity: -160 dBm noise level to detect the weakest signals.
  • High measurement accuracy with a total amplitude error of less than 0.7 dB.
  • Minimum resolution bandwidth (RBW) of 1 Hz for detailed analysis of closely spaced signals.
  • Availability of a model with a tracking generator (XSA805-TG) for measuring the frequency characteristics of filters and amplifiers.

How does the OWON XSA805 spectrum analyzer work?

The device receives the signal under study through a high-frequency input. The built-in processor converts it into digital form and builds a spectrogram, displaying the distribution of signal power by frequency. Fully digital intermediate frequency technology ensures high accuracy and stability of measurements.

The Waterfall function allows you to track signal changes over time, which is indispensable when searching for periodic interference. The built-in audio demodulation module helps identify signal sources, such as radio microphones or analogue communications stations. The built-in “Pass/Fail” test quickly determines whether parameters comply with specified standards.

Technical characteristics and functionality

Model XSA805 has a frequency range from 9 kHz to 500 MHz. The minimum resolution bandwidth (RBW) is 1 Hz. The phase noise level does not exceed -80 dBc/Hz at an offset of 10 kHz. The displayed average noise level (DANL) reaches -160 dBm. Overall amplitude accuracy is less than 0.7 dB.

The display has a diagonal of 9 inches and a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. The device is equipped with USB Host, USB Device, LAN, HDMI interfaces and a headphone jack. Device dimensions: 375x185x120 mm, weight - about 3.7 kg. The model with the TG index includes a built-in tracking generator.
