The adapter connects to the motherboard via the M.2 slot. The PCIe interface is responsible for transferring Wi-Fi data. The USB interface controls Bluetooth. Two antennas (MIMO 2x2) send and receive signals. Special drivers allow the OS to use all its capabilities. You get high-speed Internet access and communication with peripherals.
The Intel 8265NGW model complies with the 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (Wi-Fi 5) standard. The maximum connection speed reaches 867 Mbit/s. Frequency ranges: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
