The AOS Supernova 1404 4000KV is a brushless external rotor motor designed without compromise. Its mission is to provide the best flight performance for sub-250g drones using 2.5" Bullnose or 3" Freestyle propellers with 4S batteries. Thanks to its thicker core and precisely calibrated magnet overhang, this motor offers a huge advantage in controllability and power.
All this was made possible thanks to the high quality of workmanship. The motor is made by RCinPower, a brand known for creating record-breaking powerplants. The body is made of durable 7075 aluminum alloy using N52H magnets. To achieve ideal response, the developers recommend EXPO settings in Betaflight: Throttle MID = 0, Throttle EXPO = 0.20.
