Operating principle and key features
AlphaAir 450 uses pulsed laser scanning (LiDAR) technology. A laser beam scans the surface, and the built-in GNSS and IMU determine the exact position of the drone. Algorithms calculate the coordinates of each point in the global system. The data collection speed reaches several hundred thousand points per second. The SCP in plan is less than 10 cm, in height - less than 5 cm. When GNSS is turned off, the inertial system provides an accuracy of 1 cm in plan and 2 cm in height.
The 26 MP camera synchronizes with the laser, coloring the cloud of dots. Control is carried out via a button on the body or via an Android application compatible with DJI PILOT remote controls. Data transfers via USB-C at 160 MB/s. The camera shutter life is 200 thousand operations.
The AlphaAir 450 is ideal for topographic surveying, rock volume calculations, forestry, archeology and power line monitoring. It is compatible with DJI Matrice 300/350 RTK drones and other payload platforms.
