Operating principle and design
The Futaba S3003 servo drive is of the classic analog type. It is based on a commutator motor and a feedback potentiometer. Built-in electronics compare the set position with the current one and supply power to the motor until the desired angle is reached. The analog circuitry provides smooth, smooth motion, which is especially important for drone drop systems and camera gimbal control.
