Platform mobility and endurance

The Typhoon robot moves at speeds of up to 8 km/h. Its platform carries up to 180 kg of payload. He confidently overcomes serious obstacles. The robot takes rapids 0.3 meters high. He climbs stairs with a slope of 30°. The platform overcomes longitudinal and transverse slopes up to 40°. The robot moves through loose snow 0.3 meters deep. It can cross water obstacles up to 1 meter deep.

Control is carried out via a secure radio channel. In the city, the communication range reaches 500 meters. In open areas it increases to 1200 meters. Wired control via cable is also available. With one coil the distance is 150 meters. With two coils it increases to 300 meters. This guarantees complete control over the robot.

Duration of continuous operation – 6 hours. In remote-interval mode it reaches 26 hours. The dimensions of the platform are 1.25 m in length. The width is 0.74 meters and the height is 0.45 meters. Weight without battery – 105 kg. With the battery, the weight increases to 125 kg. Housing protection class – IPX7. This means complete waterproofness. The robot operates at temperatures from -30 to +50°C.

Powerful manipulator for problem solving

The Typhoon robot manipulator has five degrees of freedom. Plus a separate degree of freedom for the grip. Its maximum reach is 2.2 meters. Load capacity at full reach is 20 kg. Near a vehicle it lifts up to 80 kg. The mass of the manipulator itself is 60 kg. The gripper jaws open up to 250 mm. The slewing ring rotates unlimitedly. This provides high flexibility when working.

Television cameras are installed for precise control. Their number can be from three to five. The operator sees the full picture of what is happening. The complex is ideal for reconnaissance and transportation. It is used to neutralize dangerous objects. The robot is useful in rescue and construction work.
