Operating principle and design
The T-MOTOR AT75A regulator is an electronic device for controlling the rotation speed of brushless motors. It receives signals from the receiver or flight controller and converts them into voltage on the motor windings. Built-in microprocessor with aircraft algorithm ensures fast and accurate response to throttle commands . The maximum rotation speed reaches 210,000 rpm for two-pole motors.
The device is equipped with a built-in switching BEC voltage regulator (SBEC). It produces a stable 5 volts with a current of up to 5 amperes (according to some sources up to 7A) to power the flight controller, receiver and servos. Three trigger modes (normal, soft, ultra soft) allow the regulator to be used with both airplanes and helicopters . Aluminum radiator provides efficient cooling under high loads.
Technical characteristics and protective functions
Study the detailed parameters of the T-MOTOR AT75A regulator. The DC current rating is 75 amps. Peak current reaches 95 amps for 10 seconds. Operating voltage from 2 to 6 LiPo cells (7.4–25.2 Volts).
The built-in BEC provides 5 volts with up to 5 amps of current. Device dimensions 86 × 38 × 12 mm. Weight about 82 grams.
The regulator is equipped with many protective functions. There is signal loss protection that reduces power after 1 second and turns off after 2 seconds . Temperature protection is triggered when heating above 110-120°C, reducing power by 40%. Protection at startup, overload and low battery voltage are also implemented.
Areas of application and operation
The T-MOTOR AT75A is ideal for large trainers and sport aircraft with a wingspan of up to 1.8 metres. It performs well on scale Warbird models and powerful electric gliders. Suitable for helicopters with speed governor function. This is the choice of pilots who require maximum reliability.
To ensure proper operation, perform a throttle range calibration prior to your first flight. Parameters can be configured directly from the control panel. Provide good airflow to the regulator for efficient cooling.
