Operating principle and design features
The MAD SineSic Pro 15A controller is based on mature and reliable sensorless vector control (FOC) technology. It ensures smooth and efficient operation of disc motors. The software is suitable for multi-rotor aircraft. This guarantees fast response and stable hover even in difficult conditions. The power part is made of silicon carbide (SiC) transistors using architecture borrowed from the electric vehicle industry. This provides record power density and energy conversion efficiency.
To remove heat, an innovative two-way cooling system is used using aircraft-grade aluminum instead of traditional plastic. This increases thermal conductivity tens of times, allowing the regulator to operate stably at full power for a long time.
The device has a completely sealed housing with a protection degree of IPX7. It reliably isolates electronics from water, dust, salt, sand and even aggressive liquids such as pesticides. Synchronous Active Brake Regeneration technology effectively reduces revs and returns energy to the battery, improving handling and overall flight efficiency.
The regulator is equipped with an intelligent multi-level protection system, including protection against starting, overheating, overcurrent, short circuit, overvoltage, loss of gas signal and locked rotor. The presence of two CAN 2.0B interfaces with speeds up to 1 Mbit/s allows you to easily integrate the controller into complex multi-engine systems and receive telemetry in real time.
