Design and technical excellence

The Kubota V3800-T engine is an inline 4-cylinder diesel. Its working volume is 3769 cubic centimeters. Cylinder diameter 100 mm, piston stroke 120 mm. The nominal crankshaft speed is 2600 rpm.

Closed liquid cooling system. The pistons are specially alloyed with molybdenum disulfide. This significantly reduces friction and increases service life. Semi-floating valve cover reduces vibration and noise. The design is adapted for harsh industrial conditions.

The engine is equipped with turbocharging and direct fuel injection. High injection pressure reduces nitrogen oxides. Environmental standards comply with Interim Tier 4 and Stage III B. However, electronic control systems are completely absent.

Overall dimensions of the engine are 786.9×563.5×791.5 millimeters. Dry weight is 267 kilograms. Compactness allows the unit to be integrated into various equipment. Two modifications for the location of the fan simplify the layout.

An engineering feature is side power take-off. You can connect up to two hydraulic pumps at the same time. This expands the functionality of the equipment without additional drives.

The engine is intended for generator sets and special equipment. It works in construction and agricultural machinery. The unit is installed on loaders and backhoe loaders. High torque at low speeds provides excellent traction.
