Operating principle and intelligent technology

EcoFlow RIVER 3 UPS works as a powerful external battery with a built-in pure sine wave inverter. The main feature is the UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) function. In normal mode, the station passes mains power through itself, and when it is turned off, it automatically switches to the built-in battery in 10 milliseconds, ensuring continuous operation of connected devices. It is based on advanced X-GaNPower technology based on gallium nitride (GaN) semiconductors.

This increases energy efficiency, reduces losses and allows the device to operate silently (noise level less than 30 dB) even under load.

The station can be charged in four ways: from a 220V household outlet (0–100% in 1 hour), from a solar panel with a power of up to 110 W (2.6 hours), from a 12/24V car cigarette lighter (2.8 hours) or from a generator. The built-in BMS control system protects against overheating, short circuit and deep discharge, and the battery module has an IP54 protection rating, making the station resistant to dust and splashes. Control and monitoring are available via the EcoFlow app via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
