Order the professional CUAV Air Link 4G telemetry module to control drones without distance restrictions!
Ensure reliable control over the drone anywhere with network coverage. The CUAV Air Link 4G telemetry module transmits data via LTE, HSPA+ and GSM mobile networks. The device supports two standard protocols: MAVLink 1 and MAVLink 2. You can control the drone from Mission Planner, QGroundControl or CUAV GS ground stations. Choose a professional solution for commercial and industrial UAVs.
-
Unlimited communication range: Works wherever there is 4G, 3G and 2G network coverage without distance limitation.
-
Ultra-low latency 20-40ms: Ensures smooth and responsive transmission of telemetry and control commands.
-
Secure data transfer: Uses AES_128_GCM and CHACHA20_POLY1305 encryption to prevent data interception and tampering.
-
High data transfer speed: Download speed reaches 150 Mbit/s, and upload speed – up to 50 Mbit/s in LTE FDD networks.
-
Wide compatibility with firmware: Supports PX4 and ArduPilot, working with CUAV V5 and Pixhawk series flight controllers.
Operating principle and key features
CUAV Air Link 4G works as a bridge between the drone and the ground station via the CUAV cloud server. A module with a SIM card is installed on the drone, which is connected to the flight controller via a UART port. The ground station (laptop or tablet) also has Internet access. Telemetry data (coordinates, altitude, voltage, communication quality) and control commands are encrypted and transmitted through secure channels.
The latency in the 4G network is only 20-40 milliseconds, which allows you to fly the drone in real time from anywhere in the world. Remote access to the management console simplifies diagnostics and firmware updates without having to go on site.
Areas of application and operation
The CUAV Air Link 4G module is indispensable for commercial drone operators in agriculture, geodesy, monitoring power lines and oil pipelines. It provides centralized control of a swarm of drones from a single ground station. When working in areas with an unstable signal, it is recommended to use external directional antennas. For high-load projects, integration with the CUAV Cloud cloud platform and SDK for creating your own applications is available.
