The amplifier is connected between the radio device and the antenna. When transmitting, it increases the signal strength from 4-25 dBm to 36 dBm. When receiving, it amplifies a weak signal from the antenna by 10 dB. Automatic TX/RX switching occurs in microseconds. You get a 3-5 times increase in communication range.
Model EP-AB007 operates in the range of 2.4–2.5 GHz. Supply voltage 6–16 volts DC. Receive gain 10 dB ±1. Transmission gain 13 dB ±1. Input power range from 4 to 25 dBm. Maximum output power 36 dBm (4 watts). Noise figure less than 2.5 dB. TX/RX switching delay is less than 1 microsecond. Operating temperature from -40 to +70°C.
The amplifier has SMA connectors for connecting to a radio and antenna. Powered by a 2-4S LiPo battery via a DC connector. Ideal for ELRS, Crossfire, WiFi ground stations. Increases telemetry range to 10-20 km. Light weight and compact dimensions are suitable for field conditions.
