Choose the reliable JX Servo PDI-5509MG digital servo drive for your model
JX Servo is a Chinese brand specializing in the production of high-precision servos for radio-controlled models. The company produces a wide range of digital and analog servos for airplanes, helicopters, cars, boats and robots. The brand's catalog presents models of different power and sizes, from micro-servos to powerful standard versions. JX Servo relies on Taiwanese metal gears and high-quality brushed motors. The brand's products are popular among RC enthusiasts due to their good price-quality ratio.
- High torque of 9.35 kg cm at 6.0 V.
- Metal gears for durability and reliability.
- Double ball bearings for smooth rotation.
- Digital control for high positioning accuracy.
- Compact weight 55.6 g for standard models.
How does the JX Servo digital servo work?
The servo microcontroller receives the PWM signal from the receiver. The duration of the pulse determines the desired rotation angle. The digital processor compares it with the current position of the shaft. When diverging, the motor rotates metal gears through a gearbox. Double bearings reduce friction and extend service life. The built-in potentiometer constantly monitors the actual angle. The shaft rotates precisely to the desired position with a high update rate.
Technical characteristics and functionality
Model PDI-5509MG operates at a voltage of 4.8–6.0 V. The operating frequency of the servo drive is 1520 μs / 330 Hz. The speed at 4.8 V is 0.15 seconds per 60 degrees. At 6.0V the speed improves to 0.13 seconds per 60°. Torque at 4.8 V reaches 8.65 kg cm. At 6.0 V the moment increases to 9.35 kg cm.
Dead zone is only 2 microseconds for high accuracy. Device dimensions: 40.5×20.2×38 mm. The weight of the servo is 55.6 grams. The length of the connecting wire is 265 mm (JR connector). The kit includes 4 additional rockers and fasteners.
The servo drive is equipped with high-strength metal gears manufactured in Taiwan. Double ball bearings ensure smooth running and durability. The brush motor guarantees stable operation under load. The body is made of plastic, and the gearbox is made of anodized aluminum. The rotation angle of the servo drive corresponds to the standard 180 degrees. Storage temperature ranges from -20°C to 60°C. The operating temperature ranges from -10°C to 55°C.
