How the NanoPi R76S microcomputer works
The device runs Linux. You connect power via USB-C. The board boots the operating system from eMMC or microSD. The processor processes data and commands. NPU accelerates neural network algorithms. You get a ready-made computer for any task.
The specific functionality and technical characteristics are impressive. SoC RK3576 has 4 Cortex-A72 cores (2.2 GHz) and 4 Cortex-A53 cores (1.8 GHz). The Mali-G52 MC3 GPU supports OpenGL, Vulkan and OpenCL. The NPU processes 6 trillion operations per second (TOPS). 2, 4 or 16 GB LPDDR5 options are available. The built-in eMMC memory is 32 GB. The board is equipped with two 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports.
One USB 3.2 Type-A port (5 Gbps) is present on board. HDMI 2.0 outputs 4K video at 60Hz. A microSD UHS-I slot expands storage. The 8-pin GPIO connects the sensors. Power is supplied via USB-C 5 V. The board size is 58x58x1.6 mm. The operating temperature is in the range of 0–70°C.
