Operating principle and board features
The LILYGO T-PCIE-SIM board works as a full-fledged industrial controller. The ESP32 microcontroller controls the logic, processes data and transmits it via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The main function - cellular communication - is implemented through the SIM7600E module, which is connected via the mini-PCIe interface. The module is controlled using AT commands that support the full range of functions: calls, SMS, data transfer and location determination.
The L76K's built-in GNSS receiver simultaneously works with GPS, GLONASS and Beidou, providing high positioning accuracy. The board has a slot for microSD memory cards and supports charging lithium batteries.
The board is ideal for creating telemetry ground stations for FPV drones, remote monitoring and control systems, vehicle trackers, smart agricultural sensors and industrial controllers. With a wide operating temperature range and support for major satellite systems, it provides a reliable base for field projects.
