Versatility of use. Works both indoors and outdoors.
Operating principle and technical capabilities
The FDROBOT LD14P lidar uses a trigonometric distance measurement method. The laser beam is reflected from the object, and the distance is calculated from the displacement of the reflected spot at the receiver. The rotating module provides a 360-degree view.
Angular resolution can be adjusted from 0.18 to 0.72 degrees (default 0.54 degrees). The rotation frequency is adjustable from 2 to 8 Hz (default 6 Hz). The measurement frequency reaches 4000 points per second. The compact body and light weight simplify integration into mobile platforms.
The LD14P lidar is ideal for automated vehicles (AGVs), mobile robots and unmanned aerial vehicles. It is widely used in navigation, mapping and collision avoidance systems. Thanks to its compact dimensions and high precision, it can be easily integrated into limited spaces.
