How this high-tech servo works
The KST A12-T is based on a digital control circuit with an operating frequency of 1520 µs / 333 Hz. A high-precision magnetic Hall sensor detects the position of the shaft without physical contact. This completely eliminates mechanical wear and ensures stable performance throughout the entire service life. The signal is processed by a powerful microcontroller that drives a 7-phase coreless motor.
This design provides incredibly high efficiency, smooth operation and instant response. The reinforced hardened steel gearbox and two ball bearings minimize backlash. The aluminum body effectively dissipates heat, maintaining stability under prolonged use. The Soft Start function protects mechanisms from sudden jerks when turning on the power.
Thanks to its characteristics, the KST A12-T is ideal for controlling the cargo release systems of heavy FPV drones and the rotating mechanisms of professional gimbals. It is widely used in large gliders, sports and aerobatic models where maximum reliability and accuracy are required. The high-voltage circuit allows it to be used with 2S LiPo batteries without additional stabilizers.
