Operating principle and key features
The Orange Pi 6 Plus 16GB single board computer is a system on a chip (SoC) with an integrated graphics accelerator and neural processor. The 12-core processor combines high-performance Cortex-A720 cores and energy-efficient Cortex-A520 cores. With 45 TOPS of combined performance, you can run AI models on board, including chatbots and recognition systems.
The Immortalis G720 GPU with hardware ray tracing supports 8K video and modern APIs. For data storage, two M.2 connectors for NVMe SSD, a microSD slot and SPI NAND Flash are available. Interfaces include two 5GbE ports, USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps), USB 2.0, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, USB-C with DP Alternate Mode, eDP and two 4-channel MIPI CSI for cameras. The 40-pin GPIO header is compatible with Raspberry Pi.
Power is provided via USB-C Power Delivery (20V, 5A). The board runs OpenHarmony, Debian, Ubuntu, Android, Windows and ROS2.
