Order the CUAV C-RID module - flight identification of your drone
Ensure your drone is fully compliant with modern aviation regulations. The CUAV C-RID module implements a remote identification system. This is a mandatory requirement in many countries around the world. Your drone will legally transmit flight data. You will be able to fly without breaking the law.
This device is essential for commercial operators and hobbyists. It guarantees transparency and flight safety. You will avoid fines and problems with aviation authorities. Every flight you take will be completely legal. This is your confidence in following the rules.
Five main advantages of the module
-
Full compliance with the Remote ID standard. Your drone meets legal requirements.
-
Easy installation and integration. Compatible with popular Pixhawk autopilots.
-
Signal transmission range up to 1.5 km. Sufficient for airspace control.
-
Transfer of all necessary flight data. Location, altitude, speed and heading.
-
Compact size and low power consumption. Does not weigh down the drone and does not drain the battery.
How does the remote identification system work?
The C-RID module transmits real-time data about your drone. These signals are received by airspace control services. They can also be received by other air traffic participants. The system shows the location, altitude and direction of flight. This makes flights predictable and safe.
The device works as a transponder for your drone. It is automatically activated when the engines start. Data is transmitted via standard communication protocols. You don't need any additional steps. The system works completely automatically.
Technical characteristics and functionality
The module uses 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz frequencies for transmission. Compliant with ASTM F3411-19 and ASD-STAN 4709-002 standards. Supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi protocols for broadcasting. Operating voltage from 4.5 to 5.5 V. Current consumption is only 150 mA.
The weight of the device is 15 grams. Module dimensions 40x26x7 mm. This is the minimum for most professional drones. Operating temperature range from -10°C to +60°C. Humidity protection complies with IP54 standard.
The module transmits the drone's unique identifier. Also coordinates, altitude, speed and direction of flight. Additional information about the operator's position. All data is encrypted to protect your privacy.
