Order the CHNSpec FS-IQ-SWIR handheld hyperspectral camera for near-infrared analysis!

Get a powerful tool for non-destructive testing of materials and substances. The FS-IQ-SWIR camera operates in the range of 900–1700 nm, revealing hidden defects and chemical composition. The device is ideal for agriculture, pharmaceuticals, waste sorting and scientific research. Choose high-precision equipment for the most challenging tasks.

  • Spectral range 900–1700 nm. Allows you to analyze materials in the near-infrared range, invisible to the eye.

  • 1024 spectral channels with 6 nm resolution. Provides high detail for accurate identification of substances.

  • High spatial resolution 1280x1280. Produces clear images with 12-bit dynamic range.

  • Fast visualization in 5 seconds. Saves time when scanning samples and doing field work.

  • Wide exposure range 1ms – 10s. Allows you to work with both bright and dimly lit objects.

How does this camera work and where to use it?

The operating principle is based on grating transmission spectroscopy. Light from the object passes through a slit (25 microns), is decomposed into spectral components and hits the CMOS matrix. Each pixel in the image receives a full spectrum of intensity. The software builds a hyperspectral data cube where wavelength information is available for each point.

The signal-to-noise ratio of 600:1 guarantees high-quality results even in low light. The camera is used for sorting plastic, detecting moisture in grain, analyzing pharmaceutical substances and verifying the authenticity of documents.
