Operating principle and operating features

The Hikvision DS-2CD2643G0-IZS camera is built on the basis of a highly sensitive 1/3″ Progressive Scan CMOS matrix. Featuring a mechanical IR filter and powerful IR illuminator, it automatically switches to black and white mode in the dark, providing visibility up to 50 meters.

120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology delivers clear images in challenging backlit scenes, such as building entrances during the day. The motorized lens is controlled remotely, which greatly simplifies the process of initial setup and changing the field of view without the need to approach the camera.

A durable metal case and anti-vandal protection guarantee the safety of equipment in public places and unguarded facilities. The camera supports modern H.265+ and H.264+ compression methods, which reduce video file size and network load. To connect to the video surveillance system, PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology and a standard 12V connector are available. A built-in memory card slot allows you to record directly to the camera if the network connection is temporarily lost (ANR).
