Order the CADDXFPV 006HD Eclipse thermal imaging camera for night vision and search operations!

Get high resolution digital thermal imaging straight to your FPV goggles. The CADDXFPV 006HD Eclipse camera combines an uncooled 640x512 detector and a powerful Avatar GT video transmitter. You will see a clear picture in complete darkness, fog and smoke. Low latency of only 20 ms makes piloting comfortable. Choose a professional tool for night flights and inspections.

  • High resolution 640x512 pixels. Provides detailed thermal imaging for confident orientation in the dark.

  • Digital video transmitter Avatar GT. Transmits 720p/1080p video with a delay of about 22 ms over a range of up to 10 km.

  • Frame rate 50 fps. Guarantees a smooth picture during fast drone maneuvers.

  • PAL and MIPI (HD) outputs. Compatible with analog and digital Walksnail Avatar FPV systems.

  • Low power consumption less than 1.5 W. Saves battery power for long flights.

Operating principle and key technologies

The CADDXFPV Eclipse camera uses an uncooled vanadium oxide microbolometer. The detector detects infrared radiation in the range of 8-12 microns and forms a thermal image. The 50fps refresh rate ensures smooth, stutter-free images. The lens with a focal length of 9.1 mm and an aperture of F1.0 creates a horizontal field of view of 48.3°. The video signal can be output both in analog PAL format and in digital format via the MIPI interface.

The built-in Avatar GT transmitter operates in the 5.8 GHz band with 8 channels. Transmitter power is adjustable depending on region (up to 33 dBm for FCC). The latency of the video stream is about 22 milliseconds, which allows you to fly the drone by feel. The camera and VTX are powered from 9–24 V.

The CADDXFPV Eclipse camera is ideal for night search and rescue missions, human and animal detection, heat leak monitoring and power line inspection. Thanks to the digital video transmitter, you get a clear, interference-free picture over a distance of up to several kilometers. Its compact size and low power consumption make it an excellent choice for FPV drones of any class.
