Operating principle and applications
The Benewake TF350 laser rangefinder uses pulsed time-of-flight technology. The 905 nm laser (class 1, eye-safe) emits a short pulse of light. The device measures the return time of the reflected signal and calculates the distance to the object. Built-in filtering and compensation algorithms ensure stable operation in bright sunshine, fog, smoke and other difficult conditions.
The sensor is ideal for unmanned aerial vehicles: altitude holding, automatic landing, obstacle detection over long distances. Widely used in collision avoidance systems for autonomous vehicles, industrial safety, in agriculture for monitoring large areas and in perimeter security systems.
