Operating principle and key characteristics

The JS-MINI640-9 camera uses an uncooled microbolometric matrix based on vanadium oxide. It detects infrared radiation in the range of 8–14 microns and converts it into a video signal. The frame rate of 25 Hz ensures smooth motion picture. Temperature sensitivity ≤40 mK allows you to distinguish objects with minimal temperature differences. CVBS (PAL) output signal is compatible with most FPV transmitters.

Power supply from 5 to 16 V DC makes it possible to connect the camera directly to the on-board battery. A lens with a focal length of 9 mm creates a field of view of 48.3×38.6 degrees. Compact 20x20mm housing easily integrates into standard FPV camera mounts.

The camera is ideal for search and rescue drones, detecting people and animals in the dark. Use it to monitor heat leaks on power lines and pipelines. Light weight allows you to install the camera on compact multicopters. Thanks to the wide viewing angle and high sensitivity, you will get a clear picture even from a great height.
