This servo drive operates on a digital principle. It receives a signal from the flight controller. The internal electronic circuitry processes it quickly. She then sends a command to a miniature electric motor. Rotation is transmitted to the shaft through a metal gearbox. A special sensor constantly monitors its position. This ensures the highest control precision.
Technical characteristics and functionality
EMAX ES3059D has excellent parameters. Its operating voltage is 4.8–6.0 V. The rotation speed is 0.10 sec/60° at 4.8 V. At 6.0 V, the speed increases to 0.08 sec/60°. The torque is 2.0 kg/cm at 4.8 V. And 2.5 kg/cm at 6.0 V. This is enough for most tasks.
A durable metal gearbox is installed inside. It withstands vibration and shock loads very well. Metal gears are much stronger than plastic ones. This guarantees a long service life of the device.
