Order the GNSS system Holybro H-RTK ZED-F9P Rover DroneCAN 4-Pin - advanced digital accuracy!
GNSS system Holybro H-RTK ZED-F9P Rover DroneCAN 4-Pin is an advanced solution for precise navigation. This version is equipped with a modern DroneCAN communication interface. It provides centimeter positioning accuracy for quadcopters. You will receive a reliable and noise-free data transmission channel. This module is designed for integration into professional unmanned systems.
This model uses RTK (Real Time Kinematic) technology. It significantly exceeds the accuracy of conventional GPS modules. The system corrects satellite signal errors in real time. This allows the drone to know its exact location in space. Your automated missions will be executed flawlessly.
-
DroneCAN communication interface (CAN Port) for a reliable digital bus.
-
Highest positioning accuracy up to 1 centimeter in RTK mode.
-
Supports all major satellite systems GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou.
-
Dual frequency L1/L2 reception for quick resolution of ambiguities.
-
Full compatibility with Pixhawk and Ardupilot flight controllers.
How does this RTK system with CAN interface work?
The system works in tandem with a base station. The base is located at a point with precisely known coordinates. It calculates corrections for satellite signals. These corrections are transmitted to a mobile receiver (rover) on the drone. The rover uses them to calculate its ultra-precise position.
The key difference between this model is the DroneCAN interface. This is a digital data bus similar to CAN in cars. It is more reliable and noise-resistant than conventional UART connections. Several devices can be connected to one bus without unnecessary wires. This simplifies the integration of complex equipment on board.
The technical characteristics of the module are based on the u-blox ZED-F9P chipset. This is a professional dual frequency receiver. It operates on L1 and L2 frequencies for all major satellite systems. Accuracy in offline mode is about 1.5 meters. In RTK mode with corrections, accuracy increases to 1-2 cm. Data update rate reaches 20 Hz for dynamic flights.
Functionality
Functionality includes a built-in compass and barometer. They help determine course and altitude relative to sea level. The module outputs data in UBX, NMEA, RTCM3 formats. Power is supplied from the CAN bus (5V) or a separate source. The current consumption is low, about 50 mA. Integration with Pixhawk is easy via a 4-pin connector.
The device is designed for harsh conditions. The board is filled with a compound to protect it from moisture, dust and vibration. The MMCX antenna has a low profile and a stable connection. Light weight and dimensions do not create problems during installation. The housing promotes good heat transfer.
To operate in RTK mode, a correction source is required. This could be your own Holybro base station. You can also use public NTRIP services via a 4G modem. The system supports receiving corrections via radio or telemetry. This gives flexibility in organizing the work process.
The system is critical for commercial applications. It is used in precision agriculture for mapping and spraying. Geodetic surveying requires centimeter accuracy of coordinates. Inspection of linear objects also benefits from precise positioning. Any flight automation task requires RTK.
