This is a revolutionary MVM-AVIA ELRS 915M or 2.4 GHz dual-band receiver for FPV drones. The model combines frequencies 915 MHz and 2.4 GHz in one case. The device automatically selects the optimal communication channel. You get maximum reliability in all flight conditions.

Dual band communication technology

The MVM-AVIA receiver operates simultaneously in two bands. The 2.4 GHz frequency provides minimal latency. The 915 MHz band provides excellent penetration through obstacles. The device analyzes the signal quality at both frequencies. It instantly switches to the best available channel.

The ExpressLRS protocol combines both bands into a single system. Packet refresh rate up to 500 Hz at 2.4 GHz. At 915 MHz, frequencies up to 200 Hz are available while maintaining range. Control latency ranges from 2 to 10 milliseconds. The number of channels reaches 16 with full telemetry.

Integration and technical characteristics

The receiver is equipped with two integrated antennas. Each antenna is optimized for its own frequency range. The flexible steel cable construction is vibration-resistant. U.FL connectors allow antennas to be replaced if damaged.

Connection to the flight controller via standard UART. The CRSF protocol with byte encoding of data is used. Power range is 3.3 to 5.5 volts DC. Consumption in operating mode is about 40 milliamps. The built-in stabilizer ensures stable voltage.

The output power of the transmitter is 100 milliwatts. Receiver sensitivity reaches -112 dBm at 915 MHz. At a frequency of 2.4 GHz, sensitivity is no worse than -108 dBm. Line-of-sight communication range is up to 30 kilometers. In urban areas, reliable reception up to 5-7 kilometers.

The receiver firmware is updated via Wi-Fi or USB. Configuration is done via the web interface or Lua scripts. Fully compatible with EdgeTX based remotes. No special dual band transmitter module is required.
