How does a directional patch antenna work?
This antenna uses Right Rotating Circular Polarization (RHCP) technology with a high gain of 10.5 dBi. It forms a narrow directional beam that concentrates the signal energy in the desired direction. This significantly increases the range and stability of video communications compared to omnidirectional antennas. The beam width is 75° horizontally and 40° vertically.
This creates an optimal coverage area for race tracks and long-haul flights. The receiver receives a clean signal, and interference and reflections are effectively suppressed. As a result, the pilot sees a stable picture even at long distances.
